Marconi Union return with Multiforms: Ambient Transmissions Vol.3, the latest chapter in their long-running Ambient Transmissions series, released via Just Music. It will be accompanied by a full-length A/V visualiser premiering on the day of release, further extending the project's immersive world. A group long regarded as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary ambient and electronic music, the Mancunian outfit have spent over two decades refining a sound that resists easy definition. From their 2003 debut Under Wires and Searchlights through to a string of critically acclaimed releases, their work has continually balanced texture, emotion and spatial depth. Multiforms: Ambient Transmissions Vol.3 builds on the foundations of 2011's Beautifully Falling Apart (Vol.1) and 2012's Weightless (Vol.2). The latter of which introduced their most widely recognised work 'Weightless'. Conceived as a complete listening experience, Multiforms: Ambient Transmissions Vol.3 unfolds as a single, continuous piece, each movement folding seamlessly into the next.
