Charles Pasi is preparing to release his sixth album, the third on Blue Note. “Adamas” will be the title. A title with drawers, tracing different tracks. In Greek, “Adamas” means “indomitable, indestructible”. It is also the origin of the word “diamond”, this precious stone that is so difficult to cut (Charles, passionate about gemmology since his childhood, is a double graduate in the subject). Gem. “J’aime”: I like. The word play is not trivial. For Charles Pasi, music has always been at first a story of emotions.

It is a record that explores the feelings that make up Man, a record populated by ghosts, love, life and death. Charles sings about his father, his manager Maurice Suissa, missing, a friend seriously injured in a road accident, the shadows that never leave us and the light that is still there, despite the suffering and the separation, the passion for music, nonnegotiable.

He composed this record of a thousand colors, free, in the heart of the pandemic, when he could no longer tour across the world. He sings in English, French and Italian, there are instrumentals, blues, pop, his whole life and that of others... The blue note, so dear to the label of the same name (Blue Note) is present a little everywhere on the record.
