Relative humidity and temperature measurement module. It connects a relative humidity and temperature sensor to the CIB bus (the design of the sensor is determined by the part number). It also allows you to connect two universal inputs that can be used separately as binary or analog. The module is designed for measuring relative humidity and air temperature without aggressive additives indoors, exteriors and in ventilation ducts. It is built into an installation plastic box, which is equipped with two plastic bushings for a cable with a diameter of 4.5 ÷ 7 mm provided with removable plugs. The design of the module guarantees the degree of protection IP 54.

| Packaginng, transportation, storage |
|---|
| Description | The module is packed in a paper box. This documentation is also part of the package. The outer packaging is carried out according to the scope of the order and the method of transport in a transport package provided with labels and other data necessary for transport. The product must not be exposed to direct weather conditions during transport and storage. Malting of the product is only allowed in clean rooms without conductive dust, aggressive gases and vapors. The most suitable storage temperature is 20 ° C |
| Installation |
|---|
| Assembly description | The sensor module is mounted in any position using a mounting fitting.
The actual temperature sensor, which is located at the end of the stem, should be located so that it is maximally exposed to the measured medium.
As a rule, the installation is performed perpendicularly or at an angle of 45 ° to the flow direction of the measured medium.
The sensor stem can also be placed in a well, which in undesirable cases protects the sensor from the direct influence of the medium.
When mounting and positioning the sensor, it is necessary to ensure that the operating conditions of the head are observed during the subsequent operation of the module.
During operation, heat is also transferred along the stainless steel stem of the sensor, so it is necessary to ensure that the temperature is at
The stem-head transition did not exceed the permitted head operating temperature. |
| Connection |
|---|
| Connection description | Sensors with a converter are implemented as standard units on a two-wire CIB bus, which ensures communication and power supply of the entire sensor.
The bus wires are connected via a bushing on the terminal board, which is accessible after removing the head cover.
Signaling
After removing the head cover, it is possible to monitor the status of the module using the indicator LED. If the green indicator LED is lit, the module is connected to the CIB bus. In this case, however, there is no data exchange between the module and the TECOMAT FOXTROT PLC.
If the indicator LED flashes, communication between the module and the PLC is faultless. |
| Connection of power and system communication | terminal block with spring terminal 1.5 mm2, push-in |
| Module operation |
|---|
| Commissioning | The module is operated, set and diagnosed from the MOSAIC programming environment or other parameterization software. The module is ready for operation after connecting the supply voltage and the CIB bus. The HW address is indicated on the label on the module. |
| Module diagnostics | The basic diagnostics is performed internally and the result is available in the relevant registers of the Mosaic environment. |
| Maintenance |
|---|
| Description | The module does not require any maintenance under general installation conditions. |
| Notice | Because the module contains semiconductor components, it is necessary to follow the principles for working with electrostatic sensitive components when handling the removed cover. It is not allowed to directly touch the printed circuit boards without protective measures !!! |
| Warranty |
|---|
| Generally | Warranty and complaint conditions are governed by the Terms and Conditions of Teco a.s. |
