The C-IT-0908S module is intended for the CIB Common Installaton Bus® for the connection of sensing analog or binary signals (sensing potential-free contacts) and controlling binary outputs, including for driving LEDs. Inputs DI1 to DI6 can only be set as binary. They also work in balanced input mode. Inputs DI / AI7 to DI / AI8 can be set as binary or analog. Input AI9 can only be set as analog. Eight binary outputs are designed to drive LEDs connected in a group with common cathodes or common anodes (version with * .01 number),

Assembly descriptionThe C-RI-0401S module can be mounted in any position in the installation box or under the device cover. Installation of the assembly (basic module and possibly peripheral modules) is performed according to TXV 004 13.
Connection
Connection of power and system communicationRibbon flat conductors 0.15 / 0.5 mm2
Module connectionThe combined module is implemented as a CIB bus module, which provides communication. The power supply of the module is from an external source. The CIB bus can have any topology and branching up to a distance of 500 m and up to 32 units on one CIB branch. The CIB bus master is the FOXTROT basic unit or module, for example MI2-02M. Further information can be found in the manual Peripheral modules on the CIB TXV 004 13. An example of module connection is shown in the following figure.
Module operation
CommissioningThe module is operated, set and diagnosed from the MOSAIC programming environment or other parameterization software. The module is ready for operation after connecting the supply voltage and the CIB bus. The HW address is indicated on the label on the module.
Maintenance
DescriptionThe module does not require any maintenance under general installation conditions. The operations in which a part of the module has to be dismantled must always be carried out with the supply voltage disconnected.
NoticeBecause the module contains semiconductor components, it is necessary to follow the principles for working with electrostatic sensitive components when handling the removed cover. It is not allowed to directly touch the printed circuit boards without protective measures !!!
